I received a call asking for availability for an in-person interview for the following week and was told to expect a writing exercise by 5pm on Friday that would be due by 5pm Monday. I didn't receive the writing exercise, so I sent a follow up email and received it Saturday morning. It is an exercise that requires writing, but is mostly focused on your understanding of how an Investigation is conducted. I interviewed with two Supervisors, one of whom would be supervising the selected candidate. I was told that I would hear back by the end of the week regarding the position, and received a call the next day requesting a second interview. I thought the second interview went well as the Executive Director and Supervisor both provided positive feedback about my prior experience and skill set. I was told during the second interview that I would hear something back that same day. I didn't hear anything, so I sent separate Thank You/Follow Up emails to both the Supervisor and ED that evening. I didn't hear anything for another week and sent another follow up email to the Supervisor and was then informed that another candidate was selected (they didn't acknowledge the delay or provide any feedback to me). They did re-post the position two days later.
