I was contacted by a recruiter at first, then I had a technical interview scheduled. The position was for a new team that didn’t exist yet. The technical interview went well and the engineers were really friendly and knowledgeable. I was invited on a second final interview with a manager. I was asked how much time takes my commute to their office because of their hybrid work model despite the fact that I said on the previous interview and on the call with the recruiter that I am good with going to the office. I was asked several questions about how I am going to manage my full time job with taking care of my toddler (I mentioned that I have taken care about that) and they sounded very discriminating. I didn’t expect such conversation to happen with a manager from a Western European country. Also, the feedback was supposed to be given within a week after the final interview but I’ve got it almost 3 weeks later.
