I applied through college or university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Danfoss (Chennai) in Jul 2016
Interview
Being a final year Mtech CAD/CAM student from vit chennai, we had Danfoss in our capmus for internship offering 13k per month. I cleared the test which was really easy if you have prepared for GATE. Most of all questions were pure technical. GD was conducted to shortlist students for interview. I got in a room with 6 students at a time and 3 judges with topic given as 'Smart Cities'. I also cleared GD round and finally selected for interview process. Initially interview went really good as I gave all the correct answers except one. Also HR and Technical questions were asked at the same time by two people from danfoss. When all the interviews got over, we came to know that they (company people) were asking same questions (technical as well as HR) to all the students and that also in the same order..!! Also the selection was purely based on knowledge of CFD with ansys. no other skills were appreciated. I didn't got selected though but had a nice experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When they asked my area of interest, I replied Strength of Materials but they directly started asking about Iron-Carbon diagrams and material processes. (strange.!) Next they asked diff between thermoplastic vs thermosetting plastics. Next, why danfoss? Next my project discussions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Danfoss (Italy) in Nov 2024
Interview
They asked to introduce myself, asked me whether I have questions and explained the position in detail. The only problem is their English wasn't so good so I think there was a bit of miscommunication.
They took 2 rounds, one was HR and the other was an In-person (including an Industry visit) interview so my experience was overall good and satisfactory. Danfoss is a good company to work.
1. selection through campus 2. resume based selection for interview 3. direct interview having two rounds after two rounds of interview there was HR round all the process was conducted in there company
