I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Darden (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2018
Interview
There was a recruiter who initially contacted me. Asked some questions about my background. The call was maybe 15 minutes long then she set me up with a webcam interview with her. That was about an hour long. Then another webcam interview was set with the district operator. After that I had an interview with a gm in person. The district operator was supposed to be there to meet me but wasnt. I was asked to go back for another interview to meet him in person. I went to that and was also given another interview with another gm.
The district operator told me I can leave feeling optimistic. And that he had searched for a good candidate for several months. He said I would get a call in 2 days... for sure by the 3rd.
I didnt hear for 5 days. So I was proactive and emailed the person I was supposed to hear from. 2 days after that i got a voicemail they went a different direction.
The pros- they eventually let me know their decision
The cons- if you say give a date a decision will be made by and a call made... call the candidate when you said you would.
It's just common courtesy. I felt important until that point.
This is for seasons 52.
They let me know if I was made an offer then I would need to do a background check and drug test.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Darden (Phoenix, AZ) in Mar 2018
Interview
Online app. Phone interview. In-person interview with area manager. Easy experience with what seems to be a great company. Have read mixed reviews but you experiance with the company is a direct result of your relationship with your superviser.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Darden (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Thorough, multi-level interview process. Questions were fair and not any different from any other restaurant manager interview process that I had taken before. I did not find this process to be difficult and they were very accommodating for all levels of interviewing.
