HR reached out to me after submitting my resume on their website. Seemed nice over email but they did misread my availability and scheduled the interview for a time I had communicated I wasn’t free. We cleared up that misunderstanding but that maybe set up a negative vibe. The recruiter I spoke with in the interview was very to-the-point and unpersonable. They may have a just been having a bad day, but I got the feeling right off the bat that they wanted to be literally anywhere else. They asked me almost exclusively “tell me about a time when you ____” questions. Their answers to my questions were one-note and the interview ended almost a whole 10 minutes early. I did not get the job and kind of felt that they wasted both of our times.
