The process involves multiple steps and felt very Americanised. It was multiple rounds and was an initial round of interviews with HR, then a hiring manager and finally a prospective line manager. The format was largely based on how much knowledge I had on the business. This was easily managed by having their website open in the background and some clandestine clicking around. The thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was they way they dealt with my questions about the negative reviews on sites like this. All the reviews were the results of disgruntled former employees, never was any merit given to the concerns raised nor any remedy offered to change the culture issues they obviously have. This response echoed at all stages of the process led me to conclude that there is a blame culture in the business and a large micromanagement one too (based on other comments etc)
