Dragged me along 6 interviews and then never called me. Last guy who interviewed me seemed like he didn’t care to talk to me at all. I was told I’d need to do a presentation and spent a week studying and working on it and he didn’t even ask me to do it

Question 1
They ask about your experience and then say it’s not good enough if it’s not cyber security
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Darktrace
Interview
Many rounds of interviews.
First contacted by an agent via LinkedIn then phone interview with the Director who’s based in London. The final round will be interviewed with the teammates at SG office
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Darktrace (Melbourne)
Interview
This was possibly the worst interview experience I ever had. Definitely one of the few where I no longer wanted the job during the interview.
Interviewers were very "tricky". Their questions were generic but they seemed to be searching for very specific key words or phrases in order to pass the question. At one point I was asked what they were looking for, and when I summarized their needs based on our conversation they corrected me and then requoted themselves (i.e. I was supposed to have memorized and then repeated the words they had said)
I was fairly direct when it came to my own questions, wanting to know how many people hit target in the office, why people succeeded and failed... and they seemed quite cagey and taken a back, and were shocked that I implied people might not have hit target. It was strange.
