I had a phone screen followed by a zoom interview with the head of operations. I was told that the process could take some time and I was thanked in advance for being patient. After 3+ weeks with no feedback or communication, I followed up with the recruiter to see if the role was still open and to inquire about my status. They responded and reminded me to be patient and that I had been told they would be moving slow. I felt that the recruiter was irritated that I would even inquire about my candidacy. It’s now been almost 2 months since my initial interviews and no response or follow up. I feel like my time was completely disrespected and wasted. I can only conclude that the company moved on to other candidates without bothering to close the loop with me or reject me.
