      Recruiter Interview

      Feb 13, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Paris
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Dashlane (Paris)

      Interview

After the 1st interview with the US recruiter, 1 week later they contacted me for 1 interview with the CEO and the founder. I was offered overnight an interview mid morning while I work. It was explained to me that it is difficult to organize interviews with senior management (70 people in a society?). I made myself available and went to the office while interrogating me : do they consider that candidates are available to them ?, and worrying from a professional perspective ( I'm recruiter) : do they manage all the applications in that way ? During my interview with the founder I raise the point, he explains that there is a room problem (ah?). Then quickly gets defensive position, interrupts the interview, let me go without escorting me, and giggle : see you ! After a long silence and 2 mails, the recruiter called to tell me that there has not been a good fit (really?), but that I deserved an oral's feedback That is true. Like all candidates who invest time in a recruitment process. But then it's too late, the candidate's experience is negative. Despite the positive points : innovation, and CEO franc and human, the overall feeling with regard to this start-up is bad : lack of flexibility and agility, lack of respect and politeness.
