      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DataStax (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2024

      Interview

The organization doesn't listen. I was scheduled for an initial screen, but I was not given the explicit bulleted job requirements. I mentioned this several times to their staff, but only get one-way serial communication. The interviewer was shocked, we wasted time, as I promoted skills that they don't need and ran out of time for the skills I did have that were applicable. The interviewer was disinterested and didn't hear anything further, which is understandable.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked general questions about my candidacy. What I needed to do talk about how modern tools can be adapted to support hardware systems.
