Recruiter contacted me about my interest in a position on LinkedIn. I responded and set up a phone interview. The recruiter asked standard screening questions with little knowledge and background on the details of the job and team I would be working with. Recruiter worked out of their corporate office in Portland, seemed disconnected from position to be filled. Interview set up with multiple managers from the business unit. No difficult technical questions. Offer letter emailed 1-2 weeks after the interview from the recruiter. Back and forth once to negotiate the initial low offer. Communication all through the recruiter, no interaction with managers or team members prior to the first day of work.
