The corporate recruiter reached out to me for a phone interview and we arranged for a call on a Friday. Come Friday, I didn't receive a call. I emailed her to see if she had troubles reaching me, and she apologized for a scheduling error and explained that she accidentally put me in her calendar for next Friday instead of the Friday we agreed on.
We rescheduled to a new date, and come that date, again I never received a call. I reached out again to sort out the miscommunication, but this time got no response.
Unprofessional. If the position has been filled or if there is no longer a need for the interview, at least let your candidates know that you will no longer be moving forward as to not waste applicants' time.
