Interview
Campus director interviewed me, set me up for an upcoming course, and provided me a sample syllabus and course textbook. She also let me know I had a week to prepare 9 weeks of lesson plans and bring them to her so she could review them. I was teaching this class within 4 weeks, and then taught it again and the follow-on course in the next term. Overall experience was okay, and I got hired!

What experience did I have with teaching adult students in a higher education environment?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DeVry University
Interview
Had 3 phone interviews and they required a philosophy of teaching and a vision and values statement. They pay $1500 a course and only pay when the course is over. They wasted my time because the first two interviews said nothing about me having never taught online being problematic. The final interview was courteous, but once she learned that i never taught on line she finished the interview quickly. I hate companies that waste my valuable time.
