An incredibly long interview process, both in terms of number of interviews and the time that lapsed. I let them know early on that I didn't have exact experience and was told that they hired for fit over specific experience.
There were 5 separate interview sessions that involved 8 different individuals, all of whom attended more than one session. The final interview was a 'chalk talk', which consisted of abbreviated case study discussions of their most challenging issues. Having been told they hire more on fit, I was surprised they had a session covering this type of material.
Frankly, over the course of the 6-8 weeks, my interest in the company diminished and maybe it came across in the final interview. I was not too disappointed when, after going through 5 interviews, I received an impersonal email from "HR" that they were pursuing other candidates.
Oddly, a few weeks later, the position for which I was applied was re-posted.
