I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Delaware North (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Extremely disorganized. HR and the department seemed to forget to communicate. The actual Hiring manager wasn’t there. I met and was interviewed by a regional manager who asked me a total of three irrelevant questions. I received a vague, “I don’t know why I wouldn’t call you tomorrow.” followed by a request from HR to fill out an application, where they informed me that I’d been hired. There was no negotiation of wages. Start date was indicated, then pushed back.
The hiring manager was complaining about the company and mentioned everyone keeps quiting. What is worse than that, she kept saying she would probably be gone. Someone I know that is employed currently mentioned, "This is just how the manager is. She threatens to quit once a week!"
I applied online. I interviewed at Delaware North (Austin, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
Was easy…too easy as they don’t tell you about the problems of the union and their staff. Difficult employee/employer relations that don’t take into account that their business suffers because of this strain on relationships.
The interview process went pretty quick, it was via xoom. I it lasted about 35 minutes and it wasn't as nerve wrecking as I thought it was going to be.
