I had three interviews with Deliverect, one with another Talent Partner (15/12/2020), the other with Head of People (22/12/2020) and finally, a conversation with an HR Business Partner(23/12/2020) (they were swift, responded to me straight away, and all three interviews were carried out in under two weeks, which I was initially impressed with).
I was told that I was through to the final stages, and I would be meeting with a Founder. I did then receive an update that they will be pausing the process due to the holidays, which I understood.
On 4th Jan 2021, I receive an apology and a note saying the team will be back in a few days. Weeks go by, I hear nothing from them...
After I followed up, the Talent Partner responded a week later (18/01/2021) informing me there are' team changes', and I'll receive an update 'soon'. Astonishingly, after nearly one month, with zero communication, on Feb 12th 2021, I get a short message asking if I can speak, to which I reply....and since then, I have heard nothing from the company.
The Talent Partner connected with me on LinkedIn. Though I was given a terrible candidate experience, I had to enjoy seeing the hiring activity that was indeed being made, which I found terribly unprofessional. This left me feeling deflated and ignored. During my interview with the Head of People, she spoke on how they want to provide candidates with 'warm n fuzzys' - with that in mind; I was astonished to see such poor handling.
I still haven't heard from Deliverect, and though it's a great company based on how the People team treat candidates, I wouldn't recommend working in this company to anyone.
I would understand and respect if I was told the role was put on hold; as an individual who has 7+ years of experience in Talent, I understand how hiring needs change and how hard it can be to juggle roles, but what I won't understand is how a Talent function which is the first introduction a candidate has to a business; can communicate so poorly, unprofessionally and infrequently.
After 3 interviews, I expect a whole lot more.
