I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Round Rock, TX) in Oct 2010
Interview
Hiring process was drawn out. Offered the job, they took back offer because of hiring freeze, then offered again a month later. Interviews were simple and straight forward for a sales job. They ask about previous experience, you should have examples of how you were able to meet a goal you were behind on or how you dealt with a fast changing issue. They did a quick role play at the end to see what kind of closing skills you have. Pretended to be working for a reservation booking company and they interviewers wanted you to close them on a restaurant for them and their friends to go to on a special occasion.

I applied online. I interviewed at Dell Technologies
Interview
The interview process at Dell was relatively straight forward. Most of the recruiters were pleasant but it didn't seem like they were all on the same page as far as what kind of skills they wanted candidates to posess.
