I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deloitte in Apr 2025
Interview
They have 2-3 rounds of interviews including HR round. I appeared for interview in this Company for 2 to 3 times and there is strong corruption that happens in some Teams. To give a brief, there are some senior Managers sitting who controls the hiring process and Partners are not aware. They make their junior, assistant managers take interviews and even if the interview goes well, the Feedback I got 2 times are as follows :
1st time - I answered every questions correctly and the interviewer was happy asked about my joining how soon I can. Then after 1month they came back saying I'm rejected. Thankfully I knew the HR and she told me that the interviewer told I was giving answers by looking at some document ! And imagine, the interviewer saw this and didn't tell me anything while taking an interview !
2nd time : The HR informed they were very impressed with my interview, then the hiring manager messaged me on LinkedIn telling the position is freezed. But guess what, for the same position hiring is still going on !
Please report if anyone of you have faced such kind of harassment in interview with this Company because without knowing of the Partner, director or above these things are happening at lower level and spoiling reputation of such reputed organization.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Deloitte (Columbus, OH)
Interview
There was an initial screening followed by two rounds of 4 virtual interviews (8 total). I began the process in early March and it closed in mid June. I was disappointed in the level of communication by the recruiters. For example, for the second round of interviews I was told they were all behavioral but one was a case study on a very niche industry. I was not prepared and ended up winging it. Overall, the process seemed rather disorganized. Interviewers were often late to the calls. One of the interviewers was distracted the whole time. I had to set up two separate online portals. The fact I had to interview 8 different times just to get a “no” seems ridiculous. I expected better from an organization like Deloitte.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of the typical behavioral questions you’d expect. Two of my interviews were case studies.
- Intro of both sides incl. CV presentation
- briefly cultural fit questions like how I like to work with colleagues
- case interview testing structured approach and critical thinking
The process was very structured, beginning with managers, before progressing to a final interview with the partner. The first stages were more analytical, with the final interview being less formal, where it appeared the partner was seeking to finalise the recruitment process.
