I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (New York, NY) in Dec 2016
Interview
The process took 2 weeks. I applied in Early December 2016. Roughly 7-9 days later I received an email asking me to complete their video interview within 3 business days. I did the interview about 4 days ago - waiting to hear back. The interview consisted of 10 questions total, 7 behavioral/situational and 3 were multiple choice (adherence to dress code, tattoos, etc). I would suggest answering the behavioral questions in the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result)
The interview went well although it was a bit nerve wracking looking into my camera to answer questions. Just breathe, remain positive, sound confident and smile! ALL the questions I was asked was listed here on Glass Door. As a pay it forward I will list them again in hopes that it helps someone else.
Be sure to practice, practice, practice but you don't want to sound scripted. Try filming yourself asking and answering our own questions. I cannot stress the importance of being prepared. Take advantage of their practice rounds, as many times as you want until you think you're comfortable enough to begin the actual interview because you only get one shot!
Good luck to all the other candidates, hopefully we fly together soon!

Question 1
1) Why does your background and experience make you a good fit?
2) Describe a time you had to adapt to new information in a situation. What was the situation? What was the outcome?
3) During your flight, you hear two coworkers gossiping in the galley about another coworker who is also on the flight, there are passengers within earshot of the conversation and you are sure they can hear what is being said. What would you do?
4) You are working in the back of the airplane on a flight and during the flight you walk to the front of the plane to get some needed service items. Without the items service in the aft of the plane will be delayed. On the way back to your service area, you witness two passengers engaging in a heated discussion. Although their voices are not raised, it is clear they are both upset. You overhear one passenger claim that the reclined seat is hurting their legs and demands the other passenger sit up. You need to return to your section of the plane with the supplies, but the two passengers are starting to become louder with their disagreement. What would you do?
5) During your preflight service check you notice some items are missing from the inventory, if you do not acquire the items, there will not be enough to serve everyone on the flight, if you request additional items the flight will most likely be delayed. What would you most likely do?
6) While cleaning the aircraft after your flight you witness the flight attendant
taking items from the beverage cart and placing them into their pocket. No other member of the crew witness this event, but you are certain the flight attendant is stealing, the flight attendant is grabbing their items and disembarking the aircraft, what would you do?
7) Describe a time when you displayed a high level of effort and commitment towards performing your work, what was the situation, what did you do and what was the outcome?
I’m not too savvy with video interviews but it was very seamless, user-friendly, and easy to follow. M The questions were definitely challenging, but do your research! If you know flight attendants, ask them for advice!
