You start by applying online and receiving an assessment.. then you will receive a second one after that. If you pass the assessment you will be sent a link for a video interview. The video interview is roughly nine questions and two part questions on some of those. Make sure if you are a female to have your hair pulled back, and no tendrils dangling and have some red lipstick on and a suit. (just from airline experience) make sure you smile and talk about safety and professionalism as well as customer service. Let me just throw this out there to everyone if you have ANY tattoos, on your hands, wrists, arms,(below the elbow) neck, ears, anywhere visible while in a dress or uniform, do not apply yet. GET THEM REMOVED or apply to another airline. ( ill get into this later ) If you make it past the video interview you will get another email saying congratulations we would like to invite you to a face to face interview. You will probably have to wait a few weeks for this email so don't get super anxious and doubt yourself they just have hundreds of thousands of applicants. They will email you either way. So they let you pick your date from a list and they fly you to Atlanta for your face to face. Make sure to wear a suit. Ladies wear very simple jewelry a set of pearls and a simple pearl necklace is somewhat their signature and looks well with a suit, and hair is always supposed to be pulled completely back with Delta so keep your hair up. First thing they do is let you minge around for a bit, talk to the flight attendants, some instructors and HR and other applicants as well. Make sure of course to be social and interact. They split you into A,B,C groups it will be on your name tag which just divides you into three groups that rotate activities. Group A which was my group did the one on ones first. Five questions two are how you would handle a situation and three were how you have handled situations in the past. Then I moved on to the cart exercises where they have a cart and you are with three other people and have to set up the cart on how you all think it would be on the aircraft, again this is all just how you would interact with a team since you will be in a crew on an aircraft. Then the third part is just an area where you sit and talk to two flight attendants about bidding, and pay, and bases.. no they don't tell you what is available for bases. Just an overview of them. Once all groups have gone they will announce that everyone will be receiving an email within 14 business days regardless of a yes or no... if you are hired you will be tapped and pulled into a room (for paperwork issues) then surprised with you are chosen congratulations and everyone will welcome you! They are very nice and genuinely want you to be happy! But, here is where I get into the tattoo portion and this is the entire reason I am writing this review. During your application if you put that you have no visible tattoos, and you do. You are lying, and they WILL find them. I accepted this job offer, knowing I had a very very small tattoo that I had already spent tons and tons of money on removing.. thinking it would be gone by the time I got to training. They aren't like most airlines. They have a woman, who will search you on her one on one "inspections" shell make you remove your watches and show her your wrist, remove your jewelry. They will also tell you in day two of training "don't be worried, this isn't a scare tactic to get you in trouble we just want to know if you have any tattoos and we want to log them down" I watched people tell the truth, then get fired that same day, and walked out. THIS IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU if you think you can be sneaky, and hide your tattoo with make up or jewelry or your hair. Get it removed before going through all this, myself and some friends found out the hard way, and they do not care about your feelings, or how much money you put into making this happen. Other than the treatment that day the overall experience and interview process wasn't bad. Good Luck
