I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2019
Interview
I am still in the process so I have selected "no offer" on the choices for this review. The time frame I entered is from the date I applied to the date I am writing this review - I'll update that as I update this review.
Now, on to the interesting stuff.... The timeline associated with next steps seem to be different for everyone from what I've seen in other reviews. Mine looks like this so far:
Jan 8, 2019 - Applied on line
Jan 9 - Filled out the online Questionaire and updated my profile
Jan 10 - Invited to Hirevue (on line video interview)
Jan11 - Completed Hirevue
Jan 24 - Invited to do an on line talent assessment and completed that day
Jan 30....Haven't heard anything but the status on the hiring portal is still listed "under review" So...now, we wait....
Be sure to answer the questions in the first assessment honestly. There are clearly questions that ask the same question in a different way to see if your answers are consistent. This is a normal thing for these types of assessments. Don't give them answers you THINK they want - be honest because at the end of the day, Delta wants integrity.
Same is true for the Talent assessment (third step). Just think about the questions from your personal experience and be honest with your responses. My understanding is that the next step is a live Video Interview and then a Face to Face interview (in Atlanta) and then an contingent offer based on passing background and drug. Then the fun will begin at the 8 week training in Atlanta. You don't have a position until you pass the training and it is not easy from what I understand. So, just getting the offer still doesn't guarantee you a position.
I will update this when I hear back for next step (or not).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to make a last minute change in plans at work. Why and how did you handle it? (this is not exactly the wording of the question, but its close)
I’m not too savvy with video interviews but it was very seamless, user-friendly, and easy to follow. M The questions were definitely challenging, but do your research! If you know flight attendants, ask them for advice!

Question 1
Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a customer.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

Question 1
Name a time you had to deal with an upset customer?
It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
