I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in Feb 2020
Interview
I submitted my application online on January 14th 2020 & was invited to complete the online “recorded” video interview that same day. I completed it the following day or two & was asked to complete my TA on January 16th, receiving my talent card the following day, January 17th. On the 17th I was also invited to an online video chat interview via HireVue with a current Delta Flight Attendant ( he made me feel so comfortable and was a pleasure to interview with). On January 19th I was congratulated & invited to Delta HQ in Atlanta. I was able to select a date -> MARCH 5th 2020 at 7:30am! I’m looking forward to the F2F portion of the interview and would LOVE for anybody interviewing the same date to comment/reach out so we can chit chat & help calm each others nerves, as this is a nerve wrenching process lol. Please let me know! Good luck to everyone and I will keep you guys posted.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines
Interview
There are two assessments before the first self-recorded video interview. The first is the values assessment. The second is the virtual job tryout where they ask situational questions and you have to answer which is the most likely response and least likely response.

Question 1
A situation arises as a flight attendant where you have to balance your obligations to the current flight you're deplaning and an upcoming flight that you need to make on time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2025
Interview
not much opportunity to sell yourself for the position....too many flight attendants join the activities for the day....enjoyed meeting all the applicants that were invited to Delta for the day!

Question 1
describe a recent challenging situation that you encountered and how did you handle it? What was the outcome??
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Applied in early September 2024. Was moved to the test assessment/ video interview in late October 2024. Found out early December 2024 that I got the in person interview and it is scheduled for early January 2025!!! It has taken a lot of patience but has given me ample time to get ready and feel prepared.
The test assessment was fairly simple, took maybe 30 minutes. They do test your listening and memorization so pay close attention to directions.
Video interview was 5 questions where I had 6 attempts to answer each question in 3 minutes or less.
I've been watching a ton of flight attendant vlogs and I've done 3 mock interviews to get ready for my in person event day. Wish me luck!
My advice to anyone applying for ANY flight attendant position:
1. safety is the most important thing! Try tying everything back to safety
2. Avoid the standard "I love people. I love travel" answers. Dig deeper!!
3. Learn more about the company. There are so many airlines out there. You might align with one company's mission and values but not another.
