I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2014
Interview
Applied through employee referral, was contacted within 2 days for a phone interview. Phone interview asked behavioral questions- ones that are already listed on here are accurate. Then I was contacted within 3 days with an invitation to attend the recruitment day in Atlanta, Georgia. Flew down very early morning, had a lovely flight there! Was welcomed into the recruitment day and there were about 50-60 of us, and all of the flight attendants and HR were so great! Very genuine and friendly people. They all want the best for you and for you to succeed! Had the group interviews, 2on1 interview, informational presentations, and lots of Q&As. You need to shine throughout the whole day! Just be yourself, smile a lot (my cheeks hurt only half way through!). You need to make an impression, there are 60 nice qualified applicants there, so you need to stand out!! I told a lame joke and had everyone laughing and I really think that helped my chances of being hired. And most importantly do not be nervous!! This was my second recruitment day experience (first being a different company) and I was much more relaxed and confident the second time around. If you get nervous- just tell yourself "I am already hired! This is just my job orientation and these are all of my new coworkers. Gee am I happy I got this job!" It sounds silly, but the second your nerves start going again just say that to yourself in your head and it helps calm you down!
Eventually they sent everyone home and asked 9 of is to stay. We were then offered the conditional jobs and filled out a lot or HR work, got finger printed, and then were required to complete a drug urine test within 48 hours. Then you are invited to the 7 week training course in Atlanta! Congrats! They invite you to a training session starting in 2-3 weeks so prepare for a new change very soon!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was a time where you held a leadership role, and now did you delegate work? Answer in STAR format.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
