The interview process consisted of several stages. First, I had a phone screening with the recruiter. Then I had a 30-minute phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was given a dataset and a set of tasks where I needed to perform data preparation, exploratory analysis, and build a prediction model; I uploaded my completed work for review. Next, I participated in a 4-hour panel interview with a team of 4–5 people, during which I walked them through my entire workflow and answered technical follow-up questions. I believe there was also one final step after that, completing the overall process.

This stage often includes questions on data science concepts and SQL proficiency. Example questions: "Explain how you handled data imbalance in a project." "Write a SQL query using advanced functions like LEAD and LAG Describe a time when you were overwhelmed at work. What was the situation, and how did you handle it?

I applied for a Data Scientist position and received an online assessment relatively quickly. However, after completing the OA, I didn’t receive any further updates from the company. There was no follow-up interview or communication regarding the next steps.
