      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Denver, CO) in Apr 2015

      Interview

2 weeks after applying, I received an email to do a video interview via HireVue. The initial reaction and thoughts were that it was a little weird. The questions were simple and similar and the answers should be a STAR answer if you are familiar with that style. About a week and a half later, I received an email notifying me that my interview via HireVue went well and they set up my next interview. A few days later, I went to the interview at 11AM (roughly) and there were many people there (15 - 20 people) and they were all there for an interview. My initial thought was it would be a group interview but instead, they showed us all a video about Delta and also told us about what the job entailed and what the schedule would be. There were many Frontier ex- employees that were there and seemed overly confident and really made themselves not very presentable with their attitudes and postures. Those people did not get the job. Anyways, they had us all in a group and called us in one by one to interview individually to do the actual interview. The interview took about 10 - 15 minutes and was very swift. The questions should be answered in a STAR format and they WILL ask you if you are familiar with the STAR format. Questions are the same questions you hear in every other Customer Service interview such as "Explain a time where there was a difficult customer..." "Name a time where you when above and beyond..." and questions like that so keep things like that in mind. Since there were many people, the waiting was the longest part but there was a super fantastic Ready Reserve Delta Employee that told us about the company and how wonderful everything is! Since this was a new interviewing process for Delta, we were the guinea pigs and they did not expect the interview to last so long but it lasted about 5 hours. After we waited, they gathered us all in a room and picked 6 people to stay behind for further questioning and the rest were sent home saying Delta will be in contact with them later in the week. The 6 that stayed behind did receive conditional job offers. They did notify us that they were hiring for 4 people and typically, there are two people that don't make it through the background checks because of discrepancies of some kind. Sure enough they were correct. Bottom line: Know the STAR Format Be Confident and Outgoing Really think about your answers and relate how your experience can apply to Delta! Since they do offer you a job on the spot (my station did), make sure you know your addresses of the places you've lived, worked, went to school ... etc. for the last 10 years. Also, bring two forms of GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID just in case. Prepare to do a drug test 48 hours after your interview so clear your schedule up just in case! This is an airline/ airport job so all of this is critical for your Security Badge. Took about a month for background checks and all to clear as I did have some discrepancies but took care of it very quickly. I am so lucky! Honestly, this is such a great company! Good Luck to ALL!

      Interview

The interview process was very organized - they gave a presentation to the small group of interviewees, and then pulled each person aside one by one for individual interviews. They asked four questions in total, and left time to ask questions at the end.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Baltimore, MD) in May 2018

      Interview

I completed an online application. I was then invited to complete an online interview using Hirevue. The online interview opportunity occurred within 48 hours of submitting the application online. The online interview asked 3 to 4 questions using the STAR method. Within a couple of weeks, I received an email inviting me for a face to face interview at a hotel near the airport. I was assigned a interview group about 3 to 4 days away from the date of notification. I was the first person to arrive, so I was the first person to be called back. Prior to being called back for a 1 on 1, all of the applicants sat in a room for approximately 40 minutes. We were supposed to watch a video, but due to wifi difficulties, the manager just shared his 25 year experience with Delta.
