I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines
Interview
You’ll be greeted with a short video telling you about DL, the role, and what to expect from the interview. Then you’ll have a practice session where you’ll get an example question, and you can practice answering & seeing how you look. For the interview, dress professional. I wore a white blouse with a loose collar, a thin, black scarf around my neck, light makeup, and my hair pulled back from my face, in a bun. I also did my interview using natural light, by sitting in front of a window.

Serving our customers is core to Delta’s business. Please explain what providing excellent customer service means to you, what actions would you take to provide this type of service, and why?
You are preparing the cabin for take off, during the cabin walk-through, you notice a passenger on their cellphone. This is strictly against regulation. You approach the passenger and ask to please stow the cell phone during takeoff. The passenger becomes agitated and indicates that they do not wish to comply with our request. What would you do in this situation, and why would you take this approach?
Tell me about yourself? (I spoke about my experience in hospitality, I only have about a year, and my 17 years in customer service. Where I was raised, and what I studied in school. I made sure to mention that all of it led me to my dream goal of becoming a flight attendant with Delta)
We often need to adapt to new situations at work. Describe a situation where you had to adjust your style, approach, or ideas to meet other needs. What was the situation and task, what actions did you take to address the situation, and what were the results of your actions?
I’m not too savvy with video interviews but it was very seamless, user-friendly, and easy to follow. M The questions were definitely challenging, but do your research! If you know flight attendants, ask them for advice!
