Upon entering the school I was greeted by receptionist. Waited less than 2 mins to be directed to principal's office. Was greeted by leadership team and then asked to conduct a 20 min school (approx5-7 mins in each grade/class)observation. Important to bring your own notebook and pen to take notes. after observation discussed the pros and growths of each class/ grade level. offered recommendation. Briefly introduced myself. Next role played scenarios about how I would deal with certain challenges from students and what type of supports could be utilized for students/staff. Talked about personal strengths, areas wanted to grow. Asked questions about the school's general climate-- ie- student satisfaction, staff satisfaction, family/community satisfaction and plans to make improvements.
