I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Denny's (Flagstaff, AZ) in Jun 2016
Interview
Talked to the manager on the phone and she asked me to come in the Monday after submitting my application. Met with a different manager that had no interest in hiring me, would not make eye contact and was not listening to anything that I would say. Asked me questions about something I just told him, such as "I am currently full time in school" then less than two minutes later "Are you in school? Full time or part time?" When he asked if I had any questions, I asked when I would hear back from him, and he said "By the end of the week, if at all" and looked at me like there was no chance of me getting the job.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
We have black out periods, are you okay with missing holidays?
Not the best interview. Started off in Spanish, which is fine, but I don't speak Spanish. It was informal, a bit uncomfortable. I expected a different line of questioning and was disappointed.
Fairly easy interview process. The questions weren’t too hard and just wanted you to tell about providing and receiving great customer service. If they like you you can be hired on the spot

Brief chat with manager about past experience and work hours preferred. Did not want to work too late in the evening and was accommodated.
