Went in one night and asked if they needed help for overnight positions and they said they did and gave me an application. I turned it in the next morning, and got a call the next day. I had to return the call and the girl sounded clueless and told me to come in the next day and ask to speak to the manager whose name started with an H. I woke up in the middle of my sleeping to go in at 2 (I'm on a graveyard sleep schedule) and they tell me he had an emergency and needed to reschedule two days later at 3. I go in, again sleepy and a guy with a completely different name claims to be the manager and said they didn't need help at that location (even though the girl said they did when I originally asked), but he'd give me paperwork to sign the next day around the same time and send me to a Denny's three miles away. No interview questions asked. I applied to this Denny's because it is walking distance from where I live and I need a job before I can get a car and there's no way I could work at a Denny's that far away during those hours. Plus it was kind of shady how it was all handled.
