I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Dentsu (Bengaluru) in Mar 2026
Interview
I’m honestly feeling really disappointed and frustrated with how this whole process went.
At the end of February 2026, I got a call from Dentsu for an Analyst/Data Scientist role in Bangalore for 1–2 years of experience. I cleared the first technical round in mid-March, and after that, they even asked for my documents, which gave me a lot of hope. Then after about 10 days, I attended the second technical round.
After that, things became really unclear. I kept following up with HR, but every time I asked, I was given vague reasons like the manager being on leave or that the decision was still pending. Weeks passed like this, and every couple of days I kept asking for an update, just hoping for some clarity.
Finally, through a mutual contact, I came to know that I was actually not selected.
What hurts the most is not the rejection, but the lack of transparency. I invested my time, energy, and hope into this process. A simple, honest response would have saved me from all this confusion and waiting.
Even now, I haven’t received any official rejection email or communication from the company or HR, which makes the whole experience even more disheartening.
I just wish companies understood how much this kind of uncertainty affects candidates.
5 steps interview
1st is HR round followed by 1st Technical round and then you get assignment to work on after which you need to give second technical round and then the HR round
There were four rounds of interview consisting of technical, English communication, assignment and skill tests. Video should be on and the interview process was hassle free and little bit easy.
