I applied online. I interviewed at Denver Public Schools (Denver, CO) in Mar 2015
Interview
It is like every interview process , as a candidate you need to be prepared . The interviewer was nice and friendly although the school was closed for a snow storm on the interview and they were not able to reach me , the interviewer waited for me .
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Denver Public Schools (Denver, CO) in Sep 2023
Interview
There was a phone interview first, then a panel interview second. I appreciate that they email everyone an interview question about organizing your day to practice before the interview. However, the process was quite sterile. It was questions and answers only, no chuckles or "get to know ya" talk. The panel interview was very intimidating since it was straight to the point, with no smiles or nods. They kept firing off with the preset questions until the interview was over. I didn't receive a closure email for TWO MONTHS!!!!

Question 1
How would you organize your day based on the options you were given?
Traditional in-person interview with a short presentation. Not a lot of communication throughout the process. Discussion about resources for recruitment made it pretty clear that it was not well-funded or prioritized within DPS.
