I was interviewed in person by my potential supervisor. This process was relatively quick (1.5 hours) and broad. It appeared they were mainly looking to understand my career goals and how this particular internship would fit into those goals. When they notified me of my interview they indicated I would be interviewed by a panel, however this did not come to pass. I received an offer within three days of interviewing.
