it was a group of us being interviewed and prior to that we were required to fill out paper applications even though we applied online.. how redundant!
he HR people were very stiff and corporate; overkill in my opinion for a $12 an hour job. but its a brave new world and no wonder they are hiring probably plenty of vacancies. seems like a revolving door type of business.

Interview
The woman was rude and absolutely condescending. She went on and on how they were not looking for someone like me. She could have been nicer about it or at least done me a favor and not hung up the phone.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dependable Cleaners (Quincy, MA)
Interview
I initially applied online, and immediately called the main Quincy office to let them know I submitted an online application. I was then immediately asked to come to a group interview that week. The group interview consisted of me and 6 others around a table with the general and district manager. They went around the table asking the same, and alternating questions. Very generic interview questions, if you google "generic interview questions and answers", and study them, youll be all set. Don't talk too much, as I noticed some people go on and start talking about things that aren't relevant to the question. NEVER be negative. Wether it be about customers you have dealt with or companies you have worked for. The group interview lasted about an hour. About a week later I was called for a second interview. I then met with the same two managers as in the group interview. Again, very generic questions. References are the most important thing here. After my interview I was given a meeting with "my store's" manager. After the meeting she stated as long as my references cleared, I was hired. A week later I was provided my desired position.
