I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Cary, NC) in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview process is painfully slow and at the end of god-knows-how-many-months they schedule an interview. Initially, spoke to a recruiter about my skills and background. After many months of waiting I directly got a call for an on-site interview.
The interviewers were really nice folks. The one problem I have with this company are its recruiters who do not give a timely follow-up and have their own timelines in scheduling interviews. Also, the way the recruiters provided feedback threw me off guard after the interview. A couple of recruiters called in to tell me that the interview went pretty well and they had positive feedback. Looks like salary expectation is a very important criteria for them because I got a reject immediately after speaking about my salary expectations(which was based out of my current package, also previously known to the initial recruiter). I also hope Deustche Bank can invest better in its recruitment team because they suck big time!
P.S: I wish there was a forever option to choose from in the process duration.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I met with a business analyst and a development manager. I was asked a few questions about my previous project work, implementation details of it. I was asked a question to determine if a given string is a palindrome followed by if a given string is nearly a palindrome(insertion error detection).

great interview process, felt that both sides of the parties can honestly say what's on their mind. I think the interviewee is always a good proxy for the companies culture.
assessment day consisted of back to back interviews, one involving a case study, a behavioural interview and a competency interview. this was for the internship so it wasn’t too technical and overall not that difficult. more questions about technology within the banking sector so useful to know banking technicals
