Very unprofessional process.
- External recruiter reached out to get initial details and shared a job description. Job description was very high level and completely different from what was expected and asked during the interview.
- Company HR sent interview slot confirmation 2 hours before it was supposed to be conducted with no prior intimation at all (apparently due to a communication gap)
Would have not even gone ahead in the process if the requirements were listed and communicated clearly. Needless to say, the recruiter simply ghosted and never even bothered to communicate the outcome of the interview. Did call right after the interview though to get details on the questions asked (and maybe communicate them to other candidates).

Question 1
Some basic questions on past experience followed by very technically intense topics
It was part of a walk-in where a lot of women were called to their Bangalore office. And it was supposed to be a Coding round. After two hours of waiting, the exam started on a platform named Codility. After that we were told to go for lunch.
Post lunch, they called out candidates one by one. Those who did not make the cut were told to leave after keeping the resume hard copy.
In today's world, since the assessment was online, could have been done remotely.
This would have saved a lot of time on both sides, esp, when there was a lot of senior folks of 12+ yrs. experience.

3 coding questions, with two of them on Springboot
There were 2 rounds of interview - 1 techno functional and another one managerial. Both of the interviews are at good level. Initially a recruitment company contacted me with the opportunity. The process was smooth as recruitment agency followed up with the bank on the processes and get it completed on time
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Pune) in Feb 2026
Interview
It was a walk-in drive on a Saturday. I was asked to carry own laptop.
First was a codility online test. Second was a technical round. 3rd was again a techno managerial round on the same day. Next week there was a fitment round scheduled online with hiring manager.
All rounds were cleared and then there was a HR round after they requested for documents with a congratulations email that I have cleared all rounds.
HRs are pathetic with very slow updates, each time I have to email or call them. One month passed from documents collection and salary negotiation round and there is no offer released. Every time HR gives a new timeline for the offer.
