YIKES!, I would not interview or work here! I applied on 6/24 for the Enterprise Account Executive - Chicago position and went through an extensive interview process that spanned nearly two months. The process involved seven rounds of interviews, including a detailed presentation and a multi-hour assessment. Throughout the process, both the recruiter and leadership consistently communicated that the company was in growth mode and eager to fill the role and I was their ideal candidate. However, by 8/20, they abruptly decided to pause their hiring plans, despite previously assuring that the role was critical. During the interviews, it became apparent that the company was facing challenges, including a lack of a clear go-to-market strategy. In the end, I was informed via text that they were canceling the role and dismissing my presentation. The communication felt impersonal and unprofessional, with no follow-up or proper closure. I understand that business conditions can change, but the way this was handled left a lot to be desired. Transparency and respectful communication go a long way in creating a positive candidate experience, even when plans change.
