I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dexcom (San Diego, CA) in May 2021
Interview
The process was straightforward. Call with the recruiter who then set me up to have a 1:1 call with the Director and the hiring manager. This was very good as it helped us both figure out fit, scope, and if moving on to a panel interview made sense. From there it was a group panel interview virtually. After that there were some hiccups that took a couple of weeks to get an offer. The recruiter and hiring manager were both very communicative during this time and making sure I knew they were interested and it would only be a slight delay. Once I got the offer, the salary was fine, but there wasn’t much info on benefits. After a lot of questioning, I finally got some literature. The benefits were pretty bad. It just was too much like a start up in terms of stingy health benefits and very below average PTO and retirement plan. I declined. That being said, everyone was very nice and the interviews were pleasant.
