Interview
Applied via indeed. Two days later I got a phone call from someone that immediately wanted to interview me since she was leaving town for the weekend. Interview was scheduled for the next day. Found out the person I spoke to and interviewing was the assistant store manager. She barely paid attention that I had past experience in the position, and informed me she had other candidates that she was still interviewing . She then tried to offer me a position as a fragrance associate (something that I never had experience with) because that department was the worst in the store and they were looking for people. She then took me to the floor to what was going to be a short role play, in which they placed me to try to get people to smell the fragrance and past the sale to a associate (there was a man who was there for 1 hour in he’s working interview). After 5 minutes in a slow department store, I decided to leave and they asked me if I could return the next day to finish my “work interview”. I made them believed I was very much interested in the position.
I was called for a first interview and did my second on the spot, met with 2 managers. The next day I got a call offering me the position! Super simple!
