I recently attended two interviews with Dillard’s in Flagstaff, AZ, as I was eager to join the company given my natural ability to help others with beauty advice. However, the second interview left me quite puzzled. After discussing all the details, including work hours and dress code, I was abruptly informed that the part-time position was no longer available. This experience left me feeling that Dillard’s could benefit from better organization to avoid wasting candidates’ time.

Question 1
What was a good indicator that I would be a good in sales? I answered that I am typically an easy sell and this is true that good salesman are usually easily sold on good products/services.
Very quick and easy. Basic interview questions.
Just show some product knowledge or make up and that you are there to help build customers confidence and you’re for sure. Get the job when I interviewed. I interviewed with two separate people for two days and the third day I was offered a position.

Came in and met multiple levels of management.
Talked about schedule, pay, expectations, etc and insurance.
Talked about how to use computers and clocking in and lunchbreaks.

Easy, Asked about my background and experience related to the position. Only had to do one interview and if you get the job you do training for about two weeks.
