On-line application. I received an email from HR with couple of questions. I had to answer them otherwise they couldn't review my application. The questions are almost an insult. i.e. what is the higher study degree I have obtained. They could see the answer of this question by simply opening my CV. All questions there are just standard questions for a 1st round phone interview with a HR rep (other questions: my salary expectation, notice period, what I know about the company, the reason for my application). Because this was in my view very unprofessional to treat the candidates like this and not even bothering to call them up and ask these questions over the phone, I have decided to not reply. However, they started chasing me but no reaction on my side. After a month or so they told me that the position is still open and if I am still interested I have to send them an email with answers to that questions. I did! Then video conference with the 2 managers. All they wanted to know is WHAT IS OUR INVESTMENT POLICY? They did not ask anything about me, my experience etc. EVERYTHING was about their company, their strategy, their model, their uniqueness... After 3-4 weeks came the 2nd interview with 7 (!) people. No clue why. They all asked the same things- over and over again about their company. They really want to hear that you have always dreamed about working there for 40k, how amazing are they, how much you like them , their INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY etc. They completely wasted my time (I had to take a 0.5 day off) with these BS. After a month I received a standard email with rejection.
