I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dimensional Fund Advisors (Austin, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
Recruiter reached out. The whole process was smooth and they did accommodate the request to expedite the process.
The recruiter was professional as well as helpful. They apparently didn’t have a lot of candidates for the role and initially wanted to take more time to initiate interviews.
They mostly did panel interviews, multiple rounds (in total talked to 8 people!!) apart from 1:1 with the hiring manager and the recruiter. I was told they are interviewing two other candidates who had “more experience” and would go ahead with them. It seemed like they already had a candidate in mind and went through the process just to make things legit.
