I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dimensional Fund Advisors (Austin, TX) in May 2023
Interview
Intense but fast. They know what they are looking for and give you a quick turn around in whether they want to move forward or not. Screened by two teams originally and did not go further, recruiter called a week later and gave honest feedback. Re-applied to different roles a month later then screened by another two teams. Proceeded to a B2B superday for both teams. Pretty intense but great experience everyone was very nice

Describe Dimensional and our approach to fund management
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Dimensional Fund Advisors (Austin, TX)
Interview
Informal 5hr interview, went well or so I thought. Team lead nor the recruiter didn't bother following up to let me know whether or not I was getting an offer. Normally this isn't a huge deal to me, but when it's half a work day you can at least tell me no.

Question 1
Basic Star interview questions, thankfully they respect your experience level without having to prove yourself too much.
HR phone screen. followed by manager interview. followed by “super day” - four 30 minute interview with various team members. Expect basic behavioral questions and questions about past experiences in the field
First interview was phone screen with recruiter. Then zoom interview with manager. Then in-office multi-interview day. People were nice and process was pretty laid back. Must know about the company.
