I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Din Tai Fung (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I walked into the store (during non-busy hours, which for restaurants is typically M-Th from 2-4pm), and asked to speak with a manager for job openings. I had my resume on hand, and she interviewed me on the spot. Asked me behavioral questions like, tell me a time you had to work on a team, a time you failed, best qualities, worst quality, restaurant/job experience, etc. It was very relaxed and easy going and I got hired on the spot.

Seamless and easy. Everyone was really nice and helpful throughout the process. I got an offer email after a couple days. Not a long interview just asked about my experience and teamwork stuff
