The Recruiter contacted me a week after I applied online to schedule a phone screen. I scheduled a 15 minute slot on the recruiter's calendar using a third party calendaring tool. The recruiter cancelled the appointment five minutes before the scheduled time, and I had to reschedule. The recruiter called me promptly on the second day. And she asked pretty basic questions about my experience and expectations from the future role. She expressed her concern that they might not sponsor for the role, and said will get back to me once talking over about it with the hiring manager. Within two days, she called me to let me know that the hiring manager isn't open for sponsorship for this role.
