      Product Manager Interview

      Feb 21, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Direct Supply

      Interview

I didn't get past the application. It is a 9 step process on their internal website for which you either need your own login credentials or can login with Yahoo! (Yahoo!!!!). After this one has to perform these steps in order: 1. upload a resume 2. re-type all your personal information from the resume into a web form 3. copy and paste a plain text version of your resume (this is in addition to the one uploaded in step 1) 4. re-type all your work experience from the resume. Additionally you are required to explain the reason you left each job you list (including the one you haven't left yet) in less than 100 characters. 5. answer 8 job specific questions that make absolutely no sense (an example is: "Have you increased customers digital engagement with our digital products; including adoption, utilization, ordering and self-serve?") 6. Voluntary disclosures, including a question that reads simply "ethnicity" where one can answer either "yes" or "no" Needless to say I will not be continuing with this process but it's so ridiculous it's comical. It makes a great non example for a UI/UX class or just a nice self-esteem booster after a tough day.
