Received an email from the company. Spoke with the company on the same day. Afterward, I was scheduled me for a formal phone interview.
On the day of the interview, the interviewer called late. He didn't ask me any questions. He just told me to give him a quick summary of what's already on my resume. Once I was done, he asked me if I have any questions for him. He even misinterpreted what I said to him, which means he was probably not listening. Total waste of time!
The following day, I received an email from the company saying they decided on a "different path." He made it sound like they changed the requirements of the job overnight. He could have just told me they decided on a different candidate.
Several Google reviews said the company does care about people. This one experience is proof that the reviews are true. If you're a professional with years of experience, don't bother applying. The company doesn't need new blood or forward-thinkers. Most of the people working there are either related or interns turned managers. It's a club where you're not welcome if you're new and highly skilled.
