I submitted my resume online and was contacted for a 45 minute phone interview that went very well and we scheduled the 1st round of in-person interviews on site. Upon arriving I was greeted by an extremely nice and friendly customer service director and completed my Wonderlic exam (fairly easy exam and you can take some practice tests for free online). I interviewed with 5 different people in a 1,2,1,1 format and everyone was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. I was elated when I heard back immediately that I was invited back for a 2nd interview. Here is where it got funky: I was later sent a follow-up email that the position was no longer available due to budget cuts? I thought it was very odd a company of this size and reputation would not have KNOWN the budget prior to interviewing, but I accepted the opportunity to interview for the different position of Capital Operations Specialist because I was very impressed with the company and their growth. So I went through another round of interviews that also included shadowing a rep currently in the position. My 2nd interview went fairly well (I thought) but there was definitely not the same connection as when I interviewed with the first team. I have to admit, I was shocked and disappointed when I received the email that they were not offering me a position because they worried I could not handle the volume and something along the lines that I "asked questions that would have been better asked at a different time." I literally have no idea what that means, but I have stopped driving myself crazy trying to figure it out and I DO believe based on that feedback I would not have been a good fit for the 2nd team if I offended them with questions I cannot even recall?
Overall I am very disappointed I did not get the opportunity to work with the first team I initially met, but I suppose it was not meant to be. It seems like an excellent place to work and a lot of opportunity for advancement.
