Initial short interview with HR was fantastic - they were really a pleasure to speak with and explained the role very well. She quickly scheduled me for a meeting with the COO for round 2. He was late to the interview, which normally I’d say was not a huge deal but this was after normal business hours and took a bit of quick arranging on my end to make it work, so it felt like a lack of respect, especially at an executive level interview. He was not personable at all, and seemed to harp on questions that did not have anything to do with the role. I could immediately tell he wasn’t giving me a chance from the start, and now reading reviews about how leadership treats women, it all makes sense. Basically, seems like if you have great experience, intelligence, and interested in healthy culture, they want nothing to do with you. Really dodged a bullet.
