I applied online. I interviewed at Directive in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process was an initial interview with the recruiter, then an interview with an associate director, then a presentation interview, and a final interview with the department director.
Every one was super friendly - great interview process. But when it came to getting an offer it was a mess. I kept verbally getting "we are planning on making you an offer" "we are waiting on our CEO to approve the offer" ... and was continuously getting strung along.
They seemed like a great company to work with, and I even had an offer on the table from another company which I requested for an extension on so I could obtain this offer and make a decision.
Then I get a call back from Directive "Sorry we no longer have funding for this position so we can't hire you." ... Yet they continue to have job posts promoted for the role.
Plus, after reading through these other interviews they frequently pull this stunt. So now HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS of what's really going on behind the scenes of this place.
Anyhow it ended up working out to my benefit because the other company I had an offer with actually upped my offer when I requested an extension to consider it.
But very sad for the folks that run into this situation in the past, present, and future.

The hardest part was putting together a mock client presentation, as it was just the most time consuming.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Directive (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2023
Interview
I was ghosted by the recruitment person. Firstly, the interviewer didn't show up during the appointment and then replied to me after a week. I was highly excited for this role but found everythign very unprofessional.
