I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Discount Tire (Grand Prairie, TX) in May 2016
Interview
The interview was easy and no difficult questions. The company is just looking for a fast learner who can get the job done faster, yet safe. The company doesn't care too much for a college degree nor anything like that.

Question 1
Q: What can you contribute to discount tire company?
I had a flat tire that I got fixed as an appt. I sparked a conversation and hit it off with the local manager, who referred me to a higher-volume store. That was my informal interview, and the second interview was about a week later. They were conversational interviews, and I answered too excitedly, I think. This is one of those companies I've always wanted to work for since I always get excited about the process and ownership of new traction. I checked in, but they never called me back. I was ghosted.
Questions about knowledge on tires and my experience, willingness to do what I needed, and what I knew. Including information about me, and how I work in a team. Very helpful and interesting.
They made me wait for like 20 minutes and i went in a room and the manager(i think) interviewed me. They just described what was it like working for discount tire.
